Your Tasks

  • You are responsible for creating, maintaining, releasing, and archiving records for the maintenance of airworthiness according to approved procedures using software for managing airworthiness records.
  • You integrate new aircraft into the EFW CAMO system, including inspection, evaluation, and implementation of historical aircraft documentation (hard and soft copies).
  • You identify incomplete airworthiness-relevant documentation (assessment according to currently valid aviation regulations, approved operational procedures, and customer requirements) and develop solutions. Additionally, you address and resolve issues after consulting with Senior CAE / Head of CAMO / customers.
  • You undertake the development, creation, release, and continuous revision of individual maintenance programs for supervised aircraft, including reliability programs.
  • You track life-limited components and continuously monitor the structural condition while evaluating new modifications.
  • You monitor the structural condition regarding Weight & Balance changes and initiate Weight & Balance calculations or weighings.
  • You autonomously monitor structural condition changes related to Weight & Balance adjustments and engage authorities as necessary.
  • You compile airworthiness status lists and approve them for the handover of the aircraft to the customer.
  • You assess discrepancies, damages, and repairs based on approved documentation and procedures. Moreover, you issue repair instructions or decide on the deferment of discrepancies in accordance with approved procedures.
  • You manage the technical logbook system.
  • You instruct the contracted Part-145 organization for all required tasks by creating work packages.
  • You monitor, inspect, and trace returns from contracted Part-145 organizations and address inquiries.
  • You prepare documents for airworthiness inspections and make them available.
  • Depending on project and customer requirements, you monitor and support contracted Part-145 organizations on-site (worldwide).
  • You provide technical services for aircraft leasing and purchase transactions, especially Pre-Purchase Inspections, Lease Return Inspections, EASA Compliance Checks, and Aircraft Surveys.

Your Profile

  • You have completed university education in the fields of aircraft construction, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or avionics.
  • You possess several years of specialized professional experience in aircraft maintenance, or aircraft maintenance, or in functions related to the maintenance of airworthiness (CAMO).
  • You have extensive knowledge of Line and Base Maintenance processes
  • You bring excellent proficiency in MS-Office applications, SAP, and handling confidential documents.
  • You fulfill the requirements for a valid reliability check (ZÜP) according to §7 Air Safety Act (LuftSiG). If you do not possess a valid German reliability check or security clearance, it will be jointly requested during the application process.
  • You have very good English and ideally good German language skills in both written and spoken forms.
  • Desirable qualifications include:
    • A320Fam or A330 General Familiarization Level 1 type training
    • EASA Part-M Airworthiness Engineer qualification
    • Mandatory training according to EASA CAMO.A.305
    • Solid knowledge of European aviation law, especially Part-M and Part-CAMO
    • Knowledge of one or more computer programs for managing airworthiness records
