(Senior) Ruby on Rails Developer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the further development and stable operation of a production SaaS platform based on Ruby on Rails
• You develop and maintain REST API interfaces and ensure that integrations run reliably
• You design and optimize data structures in PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and scalability of the systems
• You ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD processes, actively contributing to the platform’s technical stability
• You work closely with colleagues from Engineering, Product, Sales, and Finance, enabling efficient communication and fast implementation

Your Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails in production environments
• Experience with REST APIs and a solid understanding of what makes interfaces clean, stable, and reliable
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD processes, and an understanding of their importance for stable deployments
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Ability to work independently and reliably, even when requirements are not fully specified in detail
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest, with a strong focus on clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
• Ideally, experience with frontend development using Hotwire (Turbo / Stimulus)
• Experience with Sidekiq and Redis, including asynchronous background job architectures
